We are at the moment, as you know in Las Palmas. To be more exact: on anchor right outside the big marina. The place is far from beautiful but it has its charm to be moored next to containers and tankers together with 50 other sailing boats.
To be on anchor together with 50 other boats is never boring, shit happens all the time. The fun starts as soon as the wind picks up or changes direction, tangled chains, boats that hit each other, anchors that loose their grips is on the “fun menu”. So when you hear wind picking up- it´s time to make coffee and enjoy the show!
On the 17th of November Anna’s mum and sister together with her two kids will come and spend time with us until early December. This is why we slowed down our pace and wont cross the Atlantic until the 7th of December.
Are we bored? Are we lazy? Are we doing absolute nothing? The answer is no on all questions! We are using this “standing still time” to sort out our self (training) and the boat.
We have just invested in a WATERMAKER that should be delivered to us within a couple of days and also a GPS TRACKER so that family and friends can keep track on us. The watermaker was a HUGE investment and I really hope it will work as good as we are expecting. Our canvas roof that got ripped during rough weather a couple of months ago is also taking care of- we found a lady here in the marina that had a sawing machine.

Hej Anna!
