After 14 weeks and 5000 miles of open sea our beloved “Pacific no clue”” crew has left the boat. Both me and Anna are super grateful over that we had the opportunity to get to know these people! The trip crew was as amazing as the trip and we will miss you all!
To put 8 strangers on a boat for a period of 14 weeks is an extreme social experiment, it´s like Big Brother on steroids. On the sea you will find no emergency doors to open if you are fed up and want to get back to reality. Our crew passed this experiment with 5 big stars in our logbook.
We have shared more than 294 meals together, sailed 5000 miles of open sea, slept under the same roof a 100 nights, visited 4 different countries without having even one fight or conflict onboard. This is unique and I salut my crew for being the BEST!
On this trip we have crossed the one and only Panama canal, dived with hammerhead sharks on Isla Malpelo, we had sea lions chasing Vera in the Galapagos, we have wondered the jungle of Marquesis, swim with sharks in Tuamotus, crawled trough caves on Tahiti and much much more.
Victor, Helena, Nico and Simon traveled back to Europe a couple of days ago. Davide left us in the beginning of may for a job on a yacht back in the Mediterranean sea. Our one and only Katrin is still with us and will continue to do so for a while!
I am not a particular good writer so I will let a couple of pictures tell the full story!
