We are looking looking for 6 cool persons that wants to sail with us from Fiji to New Zealand! This amazing adventure will start on the 10th of October and the whole trip will take us 8 weeks. This leg will take us from the islands of Fiji all the way down to the north eastern part of New Zealand. We only have 0 spot left for this adventure- sorry guys we are full for this trip now!
Fiji- the first 3 weeks
You (the crew) will arrive to the boat on the 10 of October and after you have made your self at home on the boat, our adventure will start! We will begin with a 3 week cruise around the Islands of Fiji and we will focus of finding the most beautiful spots the place has to offer.
One of the biggest advantages with traveling with a sailing boat is that we have the power to go to places people normally cant go to. We don’t go on a awfully “day-cruises” together with 100´s of tourists- we decide where and when and also how long we stay in a specific place, in an other word- the way it should be!!!
Life on-board the boat is simple and very easy going, we spend most of the days either in or under the water. We have dive equipment and a small compressor on-board and I am also a keen free-diver. Anyone that is up for it will get a crash course in getting down deep in a safe way! If you prefer to explore the surroundings on your own you can always take one of our two stand up paddle-boards!
Besides all the underwater activities we will have a lot of time to explore the islands on land as well!
After our 3 weeks in Fiji it is time for us to prepare the boat for our long and serious journey down to New Zealand.
New Zealand – the second part of the trip
This will be a proper ocean sail and we will have a lot of miles (1200nm) to cover before we reach our first destination; Whangarei on the north east side of New Zealand’s northern island. This is were we will meet the authorities and do our check-in. We do have a dog on-board the boat so it will probably take us a bit longer than normal (a day or two)- just keep smiling!
After we have all our documents in order we will cruise south along the eastern part of the island. Bay of Plenty and Bay of Islands has a lot of beauty to offer both on sea and on land.
When your time on-board the Bay dreamer comes to its end we will find a suitable place for you guys to say farewell to us and our boat!

I’m really interested in this opportunity! I’m a rock climbing instructor here in Maine, USA. And I’m an adventurer/musician!
I’m very interested in being part of your crew. I’m 38 years old, a former United States Navy water survival training instructor as well as a medic. I also am a water enthusiast and padi certified scuba diver and enjoy fishing, spearfishing and surfing. Sounds like it would be a once in a lifetime experience that I would love to be a part of.
I am very interested in a position. I am passionate about sailing. I have been sailing for about 20 years. on Lake Michigan, Lake Pend Oreille, Puget Sound, and on the Mediterranean. Over the last year I obtained my ASA 101, 103, 104 and 105. I love to travel, I am adventurous and very easy to get along with. I do not mind taking a late night watch or washing the dishes and love kids and dogs. Feel free to contact me if you have an interest.
Good day!
I would love to chat more about this amazing opportunity! I live aboard and run a marine Maintenance/yacht care company in north puget sound… Sailing for close to 20 years and am excited to expand my horizons abroad with awesome likeminded people! Past professions include NREMT-Paramedic, high school educator and youth counselor, and 25 years in the whitewater/mountain rescue/outdoor guide. I’m sure we would have heaps to share and I would love to have you folks join me for sailing and mountain adventures in the San Juan islands of the Salish sea (or desolation sound?) and exploring the north cascades!
