The last couple of days has been awesome, many cold drinks, good food accompanied with best company in the world. Our friends Bella and Jens decided to fly all the way down to Palermo to surprise Anna.
I knew about this “surprise visit” for a week or two and it was seriously hard to NOT tell Anna about it. It´s really hard to keep a secret from someone when you live on a small boat like this -suspect phone calls and secret emails are hard to keep in the dark . I don’t really know if Anna new about this or not- she says she didn’t but I don’t know what to believe- she didn’t look so surprised when the arrived to our boat.
Surprise or NO surprise- we had an awesome couple of days together. We sailed down a couple of miles the coast and slept on anchor one night. We tried our best to give them some action even though the wind was really weak- we drove the boat up on a rock?!?!?! Why? I blame the charts- it said nothing about a rock there!! We were lucky and did not damage the boat- we have a small mark in one of the fins that we will fix next time we lift the boat out of the water.
Bella and Jens left the boat this morning, Anna was crying, Bella was crying- me and Jens hm no we didn’t cry but it felt bad when they left. Hopefully we will have Jens on-board over the Atlantic and we also hope that we will meet them in Miami in February or Mars.
We don’t know yet but maybe I will go home and work for a month now in October – nothing is decided yet but we have spent a little bit to much money during our 5-6 months in the Mediterranean.
We will leave Palermo today for a slow sail to the west, the wind is close to zero but we both feel we have no choice but to just accept the fact that we will be slow and hit the sea again- we need to get out of here in time.

Tråkigt att vi inte kunde stanna längre, typ som hela er resa 😉 Nu sitter vi på planet hem, detta hann vi med men d va inte med ngn större marginal. Vi e helt enkelt inte flygtyperna. Känns som vi e mer drickavinpåenbåtnärbåtenliggerstilltyper 🙂 Längar redan tillbaka till er! Lova å hälsa på oss om du kommer hem snart Daniel.

Tack snälla ni för fantastiska men ack så få dagar. Nu sitter vi i taxin på väg för att hämta Lodin. Känns inte alls kul att lämna partybåten eller er. Men vi har ju saknat Lodin så det känns okej. Jens påpekar dock i detta nu att han redan saknar er och han talar även för mig kan jag säga. Vi kom i tid till flyg ett men det var inga större marginaler för bytet till flyg två. Vi är helt enkelt inga flygmänniskor utan snarare hängapåenbåtsomhelstinteåkerochdrickavinmedvärldensbästakompisarmänniskor 🙂

Åhhh min älskade dotter vad jag längtar efter dig. Svårt men ändå roligt att se alla fina bilder. Kul att Bella och Jens kom på besök. Nu sätter jag upp ett måttband och klipper dagar tills jag ska åka.
