We are looking for 4 new adventurous crew-members that would like to sail with us on our first leg in the Pacific Ocean.

pacificmap

The trip will start in February 2015 and the route will take us to many amazing places such as: Isla de Perle, The Galapagos islands, The Islands of Marquesas and finally to Tahiti. The whole trip will take us around 12 weeks and we will cover more than 4000 nautical miles.

1. Las Perlas (Islas de las Perlas)

We will depart from Panama city and start our long journey towards Tahiti around the 15th of February. The first leg will take to a group of Islands called; Islas de las Perlas island 30 nm west of Panama. Here we will find more than 100 islands; both inhabited and uninhabited. We will explore the place while we are waiting for a good wind that will help us to reach our next destination- Galapagos

2. Galapagos Islands

This second leg is more than 850 miles and will be our first proper sailing together. We will stay on the Islands for as long as we enjoy it; my guess is that we will stay there for a little bit more than a week.

3. Marquesas – French Polynesia

After Galapagos we will set sail towards the Marquises and this leg will be more than 3000 miles. We will for sure cruise around this area for a while; explore islands, do a lot of diving/ snorkeling and enjoy life both on land and on the boat.

4. Tahiti – French Polynesia

Our final destination is about 800 miles from the Marcesis but on the way we will stop at different islands and atolls- this area is famous for being one of the best cruising grounds in the world.

“We are very flexible so if the crew has a “wish-list” of places they want to see on the way- we will make it happen!”

This trip will hopefully be one the best we have ever and we would like to share this experience with you.

If you are interested to be a part of this adventure- please send us an email with a short description about your self and we will get back to you shortly! We do get a lot of requests about the pacific so please contact us as soon as possible!

Cost: 400 euro/week all inclusive

Well- thats it! If you have any questions, please send us an email to: sailingbaydreamer@gmail.com

More details about the trip

Diving

We do have dive equipment, compressor, dive master and an instructor onboard so we will have the opportunity to explore these places both above and under the water. During the trip you will have the opportunity to get your first diving-certificate or upgrade you existing one. The diving is NOT included in the price but it will be a fair price.

More information about diving: https://www.baydreamer.se/scuba-diving/

Kite surfing/ Surfing/ windsurfing

We don’t have the equipment onboard and we don´t really have the skills- YET! But if you have the skills and the equipment to go with it- BRING IT!

Accommodation

The boat offers four double rooms. If you are single and traveling alone you will probably have to share room with another crewmember. We have two showers/toilets onboard.

Costs

The cost for this amazing experience will be 400 euro/week all inclusive. The price does NOT include: alcohol, “checking in/out fees, permits and VISAS. Some people think this is a lot of money but it is NOT. For this money we will provide you food, drinks, diesel, water, a super well-equipped and safe catamaran and also a lot of “know how” 24/7.

Duties onboard

We will take good care of you all the way but this is NOT a charter-trip. Everyone onboard will help out with all daily duties such as: maintenance, cooking, sailing, cleaning etc.

Do you need to have sailing experience?

NO you don´t. We will teach you everything there is to know about sailing and life on the sea.

Tja!
