We are just about to leave Galapagos Islands and set sail for French Polynesia. Our stay on Galapagos has been great; sea lions, sharks, turtles, ray´s, lizzards, strange birds, penguins, an active volcano and even a couple of fighting roosters is some of the things we have experienced during our stay over here!
Our next leg will be the longest trip we have ever done so far- over 3000 miles and according to the weather forecast we will have very little wind on this trip. We will probably have to motor for almost 4 days until we reach an area with decent wind that will help us over to the Marquises Islands.
Everything is working fine onboard except our water-maker that is giving us a hard time! We do have over 400 liters of drinking water onboard so we will manage fine without it if we must. But I really hope that it will hold together all the way to Tahiti!
Talk to you soon!
