Hello Caribbean

Bay Dreamer with crew dropped anchor in the bay of De Marin in Martinique late Wednesday (8/1-2014) afternoon. We travelled over 2400 miles in 15 days and I am very happy over the result. The boat was very heavy with all the people and supplies so I didn´t expect any speed records.

Seriously??

Even when we are sailing!!

Max doing an Atlantic BBQ

Our crew was the best; 7 people on the boat for over a month without any dramas!! The boat was spotless at all times and we had no rules or schemes to handle cleaning, dishes and watches- everything just worked by it self!

I SALUT my crew and I would sail with any one of them at any time any were!!!

I don´t really know how to summarize the whole trip over the Atlantic so I will let the pictures speak for them self.

The crew left us on Thursday morning. The plan was to have a proper “goodbye breakfast” together. but our dingy engines did everything they could to mess up our plans.  Both of our outboard engines refused to start and it took us more than 4 hours to get one of them to work. I was both pissed of (over the engines) and also a bit stressed over that Anna´s father stood waiting on the pier so I am afraid that the crew thought I was a bit rude- I am sorry for this and I hope I will have the opportunity to make up for it.

I wish you all the best and happy traveling!

Now the whole crossing looks like a piece of cake…
I see there was a secret “longes beard” competition going on.
