We left Mahon on Menorca a couple of days ago and sailed west on the southern side of the island. The plan was to sail for a couple of hours and then drop anchor for the night but the waves made it impossible so we decided to sail 40 miles over night to Mallorca instead.
The sail over to Mallorca was awful- no wind with – big waves made = No fun.
We are now on anchor in a beautiful bay called Cala Molto right outside a natural park. This morning we went on a 2 hours hike up to the top of a small mountain- the view was amazing.
The weather forecast give us a green light to start our sail towards Gibraltar on the 6th of October- the distance if almost 500 nautical miles and we really need all the wind we can get. Until the 6th I guess we will just hang around here on the northern part of Mallorca.
