We left L Thia after a early breakfast for the old city of Stari Grad. This small town has a long history- it goes all the way back to 300 B.C. The please is really cool with many small alleys that is housing a couple of small shops, restaurants and coffee-shops.
When you enter Stari Grad from the sea you will sail almost up in the center of the town, it´s way to narrow in here to stay on anchor so we had to stay on a mooring that costed us 200kn. There is also possible to stay along the pier but that will cost a lot more.
On the opposite aide of the small town you will find small road that runs along with the water and will take you up the bay through a forest, it was really nice there with a lot of private cliffs to take a swim from.
It´s really calm here- not so many people around, maybe the tourists season hasn’t started up yet?
The position for Stari Grad is: N43.11 E16.35
During the night it was raining really heavy and the thunder goods was really upset- It was poring down so much you would´t believe it. I have only seen this amount of rain and thunder once before in my life and that was in Thailand almost 10years ago. As I am writing this (06.40 in the morning) you can still here the thunder all over the place and the rain is still poring down- so we will see if we will move today or not. A good thing about this weather is that it cleans the boat- FOR FREE.
