Almost a week has past sense our last report and we are still on the Greek island Crete . The wind is still very weak and is blowing from the west so our next leg towards Malta or Tunisia is postponed until the weather is on our side.
Our stay in Greece has been way to long and all of us are very eager to leave this place for Malta or Tunisia.
During this “waiting for the wind” week we had the pleasure to be accompanied by my father and stepmother. When they heard that we where stuck on Crete cause of the weather the decided to take a “last minute trip” down to Greece and visit us.
It has been really nice to have the old-man onboard the boat for a week. We have been motoring short trips up and down the coast and stopped at a couple of small villages on the way. We even got our self a good tasting fish two days ago- not to big but a perfect meal for 4 people.
Yesterday it was my fathers birthday and we didn’t really salute him in a proper way, no big party, no fancy dinner. To be honest we didn’t do anything for him- he says he likes it better that way but I feel a little bit bad anyway.
We all got a little bit bored of the marina here in Rethymno yesterday so we rented two scooters and went around a bit on the Island- it was nice to do something else for a day.
I hope that we will be going to a place called Chania 15 miles west of Rethymno later on today- The reason we cant leave straight away is because I ordered some things from the internet a couple of days ago that I am hoping will arrive today.
During this week we have been contacted by a lot of different people from all over the world that wants to come and sail with us and we are very happy about this. It will be fun to have “strangers” on-board during our trip around the world.

Nu är vi hemma igen. Vad en vecka går fort när man trivs. Vi har haft det underbart. TACK snälla ni båda för att ni stått ut med oss. Ni har varit så tålmodiga 🙂 Själv är jag lite stolt att jag trots allt klarade plankan. Gummibåten behövde jag som tur var aldrig utmanas på.
Det gungar fortfarande för Örjan medan jag inte känner något. Patrik hämtade oss på Arlanda, snälla han. Nu har vi korten att sitta och minnas till. Jag kommer att skicka länken till det album de är uppladdade på.
