We left Martinique right after we got our 3 new dive bottles late Thursday night. It took us 21 hours to sail around 100 nm, it was a smooth ride without any dramas or sea-sickness.
We didn’t make a stop at Dominica that is the first island north of Martinique because we could not be bothered to check in and out just for a short stay at the island. Martinique and Guadeloupe is both French so we don´t need to do any clearance as long as we move between the French colonies.
Terre De Haut is a small island south of Guadeloupe. The place is VERY beautiful with a lot of green hills, sandy beaches and clear water. We moored right outside the islands main town/village. The village is a bit touristy but not at all bad in any way- the opposite to be honest.
Davide and me will go diving tomorrow and I think we will stay around this island for a couple of days before we move up to the main island of Guadeloupe.
